Productivity and wage effects of the Iso9001 certification for leader and laggard companies in Italy

In this paper I study whether the adoption of Iso9001 certification in Italy, between 2011 and 2019, has helped small firms to reduce gap productivity, profitability wages paid workers, with leading group operating on frontier. After a pooled OLS estimation, difference-in-difference model fixed effects been applied. find that does support below frontier partially recover terms multifactor productivity incorporating mark-up profits, while no robust effect detected for corrected wages.
